Kate's Place is committed to providing high quality education and care for children 0-5 years of age and before and after school care and vacation care for children up to 12 years.

We require reliable, motivated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Professionals to work in our centres.

Applicants for Senior Educator positions must hold one of the following;

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
  • Graduate Diploma of Education (Early Childhood)
  • Bachelor of Education (Primary) willing to enrol in and complete an approved bridging course
  • Diploma in Children's Services
  • Advanced Diploma in Children's Services
  • Certificate III in Children's Services, experienced and willing to enrol in and complete Diploma in Children's Services course
  • Alternative qualification approved by ACECQA under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

and need to have;

  • Enthusiasm, a passion for children and a desire to make a difference.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with parents, children and co-workers.
  • A solid Understanding of modern childcare and early learning principles.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours (a modified version of flexitime).
  • A willingness to do what needs doing, without waiting to be asked or told.
  • Loads of initiative and the ability to assist us in keeping our company one of the best.
  • A sound understanding of modern child care, early learning principles, ELYF and  QKLG.


Applicants for Assistant Educator positions must;

  • Be at least 17 years of age
  • Hold a Certificate III in Children's Services; or
  • Be willing to enrol in and complete a Certificate III in Children's Services Traineeship.

and need to have;

Applicants for Teacher positions must have;

  • Bachelor of Education (EC), Australian Child Care qualifications or other qualifications recognised by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). 
  • A sound understanding of modern child care, early learning principles, ELYF and  QKLG.

  • Enthusiasm, a passion for children and commitment to make difference.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with children, parents & carers.
  • Commitment to work co-operatively as a team member.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Loads of initiative and the ability to assist us in keeping our company one of the best
