Applicants for Group Leader positions must hold one of the following:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
  • Graduate Diploma of Education (Early Childhood)
  • Bachelor of Education (Primary) willing to enrol in and complete an approved bridging course
  • Diploma in Children’s Services
  • Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services
  • Certificate III in Children’s Services, experienced and willing to enrol in and complete Diploma in Children’s Services course
  • Alternative approved qualification as per the Child Care Regulations.

Applicants for Assistant positions must be a minimum of 17 years of age, and:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services; Or
  • Willing to enrol in and complete Certificate III in Children’s Services Traineeship.

Applicants for all positions require a Positive Notice Blue Card. Staff are also required to hold current First Aid and Resuscitation certificates during their employment. Salary and Conditions are in accordance with the Child Care Industry Award – State (NAPSA)
